How Arcuri’s ties are madewebmaster2016-05-31T12:35:46+00:00
The process of making an Arcuri tie is of particular importance to ensure a prestigious creation. In addition to gaining approval through the final quality control stage, the ties are carefully checked during each phase to avoid any defect. Any error – even the smallest one – will affect the final result.
With chalk and scissors, every tie is cut with a pattern placed on the fabric at 45° angle, to perfectly center the design and give to it the right elasticity.
This stage of machining is also called “incappucciatura”. The liner is attached with the utmost care and expertise inch by inch.
The tie is fully tacked by hand, to get a flawless symmetry and therefore a perfect result.
The tie is finished by hand with delicate stitches of equal length, with scalloping, for an elegant result. The processing steps may include any customization with the application of figures embroidered on the loop inside the tie.
